Irlanda: trovata fossa comune orfanotrofio cattolico

epa04242257 A handwritten note is painted on the site of a mass grave of up to 800 children on the site of the former Mother and Baby home in Tuam, County Galway, in western Ireland, 06 June 2014. The home was operated by the Catholic ‘Sisters of Bon Secours’ between 1925 and 1961. Media reports state that the Irish government will launch a broader investigation of the case after bodies of children were found in a septic tank. First bodies were found on the ground some four decades ago but were initially thought to be from the 19th century famine in Ireland. EPA/AIDAN CRAWLEY
